كشف الجيش اللبناني، الأحد، معلومات عن غرق قارب قبالة الساحل، ما أدى إلى مقتل 6 أشخاص على الأقل، فيما تحدث أحد الناجين عن اصطدام زورق دورية بالسفينة التي كانت على اليسار مرتين، قبل ان يغرق الأخير.

أعلن قائد القوات البحرية اللبنانية، العقيد هيثم الضناوي، أن السفينة الغارقة كانت تبلغ من العمر 48 عامًا عند بنائها عام 1974، وكانت عبارة عن سفينة صغيرة بطول 10 أمتار وعرض 4 أمتار مع حمولة مسموح بها. 10 أشخاص فقط.

وأكد ضناوي خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده بغرفة العمليات البحرية أن القارب لم يكن فيه سترات الإنقاذ أو حتى أطواق نجاة، وأضاف “حاولنا أن نمنعهم من الانطلاق لكنهم كانوا أسرع منا وحاولنا أن نشرح لهم أن المركب معرّض للغرق”.

وأشار إلى حمولة القارب، التي بدورها جعلتهم لا يستطيعون الابتعاد عن الشاطئ، مشيرًا إلى أن “لم يقتنعوا من عناصرنا الذين يعانون نفس معاناتهم، وقائد المركب اتخذ القرار بتنفيذ مناورات للهروب من الخافرة بشكل أدى إلى ارتطامه”.

ولقي ستة مهاجرين بينهم طفل حتفهم عندما غرقت سفينة قبالة سواحل لبنان حيث كافح الجيش للعثور على ناجين بعد إنقاذ نحو 50 شخصا.

ازدهرت الهجرة غير النظامية عبر البحر من لبنان الذي يعاني من أزمة اقتصادية غير عادية. لكن غرق سفن الهجرة أمر نادر الحدوث.

أبحرت السفينة، السبت، من منطقة القلمون جنوب طرابلس، كبرى مدن شمال لبنان، وعلى متنها نحو 60 راكبا، ولم تحدد جنسياتهم.

عثر الجيش اللبناني على جثث خمسة مهاجرين، الأحد، بعد العثور على جثة فتاة يوم السبت، ليرتفع العدد الإجمالي للضحايا إلى ستة، وفق ما أفادت وكالة الأنباء اللبنانية.

حسب الأرقام الجديدة الرسمية تم انقاذ 48 ضحية.

وقال الجيش إن السفينة غرقت بعد قليل من مغادرتها القلمون بسبب الازدحام وسوء الأحوال الجوية، لكن أحد الناجين قال إن السفينة غرقت بعد أن طاردها الجيش.

وقال “زورق دورية اصطدم بقاربنا مرتين”

تم القبض أيضا على أحد المشتبه فيهم من اجل تورطه في نقل مساعدة المهاجرين على الهجرة غير شرعية.

على حمية وزير الأشغال العامة والنقل هو الاخر متبع القضية واكد ان القاري كان فيه 60 مهاجرا.

وأكد أحمد تامر مدير ميناء طرابلس أن الجيش يواصل البحث عن ناجين.

وأغلق الجيش الميناء وسمح فقط لسيارات الإسعاف التابعة للصليب الأحمر اللبناني بالمغادرة والدخول.

انتشرت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي نداء للمظاهرات من المقرر القيام بها الأحد أمام منزل رئيس الوزراء نجيب ميقاتي في طرابلس.

وقفت عوائل وأشقاء الذين كانوا على السفينة منتظرين أمام الميناء آملين سماع الخبر المفرح وهو نجاة اشقائهم.

صرح أحد الأشخاص من عوائل الضحايا “حدث هذا بسبب السياسيين الذين أجبروا اللبنانيين العاطلين عن العمل على مغادرة البلاد”.

يعاني لبنان، الذي يبلغ عدد سكانه حوالي 6 ملايين نسمة، من أزمة مالية حادة حيث فقدت الليرة أكثر من 90 في المائة من قيمتها ويعيش معظم الناس الآن تحت خط الفقر.

يلقي كثير من الناس، مثل المنظمات الدولية والحكومات الأجنبية، باللوم على الطبقة السياسية اللبنانية في الأزمة التي بقت على حالها لعقود من الزمن بتهم الفساد وعدم الكفاءة.

أفادت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR) أن ما لا يقل عن 1570 شخصًا، من بينهم 186 لبنانيًا، غادروا أو حاولوا مغادرة دولة لبنان بشكل غير قانوني بين شهر يناير وشهر نوفمبر عام 2021.

يتوجه معظم المهاجرين غير الشرعيين إلى جزيرة قبرص، العضو في الاتحاد الأوروبي، على بعد 175 كيلومترًا من الساحل اللبناني.

وصل عدد المهاجرين حوالي270 ضمنهم 40 يحملون الجنسية اللبنانية سنة 2019.

سابقا غالب الأشخاص الذين كانوا يهاجرون من أصل سوري لكن مع تفاقم مشاكل الاقتصاد في لبنان تزايد عدد اللبنانيين في الهجرة.
